MIKE PEACE

This is Mike's Story

Mike Peace has been a dedicated tattoo artist for over 24 years, beginning his journey behind the counter of a tattoo shop in 1995 before picking up the machine in 2001. Since then, his commitment to the craft has remained unwavering.

Peace’s style is rooted in the ethos of classic street tattooing—whether walk-ins or custom work—with a strong affinity for Japanese motifs, black and grey realism, and the bold, graphic language of Jim Phillips-inspired skateboard art. He values the collaborative nature of tattooing, aiming to create work that resonates deeply with clients while maintaining artistic integrity.

In 2015, Peace founded Parlour Tattoo, a studio that reflects his vision of a supportive, skill-driven community. For him, tattooing is not only about art but about connection—particularly when working on deeply personal pieces that carry emotional weight.

Outside of tattooing, he enjoys painting skateboard decks and designing logos, continuing to explore visual storytelling across formats. He views the tattoo community as a vital space for mutual learning and shared growth.

Peace challenges outdated stereotypes of tattoo culture, and looks forward to future projects that push scale, originality, and creative depth.
