DYLAN
LLEWELLYN
This Is Dylan's Story
Dylan Llewellyn (aka heed313) is a Calgary-born tattooer whose work is rooted in the bold visual language of skateboarding, graffiti, and surrealism. With a background in drawing and formal art education based out of Victoria, B.C., Dylan’s creative path was set in motion after receiving his first tattoo at Crystal Image Tattoo—a pivotal moment that sparked his commitment to the craft.
His tattoo style is graphic, high-contrast, and often laced with surreal elements, reflecting his broader artistic influences and lifelong immersion in street culture. Outside of tattooing, Dylan explores multiple mediums including silk-screening, painting, carving, and sculpting. Recently, he’s been creating 3D masks out of broken skateboards, repurposing the materials that shaped his early creative life.
Dylan is proud to work out of Parlour, a laid-back, unpretentious studio that supports his drive to pursue diverse artistic outlets alongside tattooing. At the heart of his practice is a deep respect for the tattoo community and the relationships it fosters. For Dylan, tattooing is more than a profession—it’s a lifelong dialogue between artist, client, and culture. Always evolving, he’s continually seeking new collaborations and ways to push the boundaries of his imagination.
