SCOTTIE FORD
This is Scottie's Story
Scottie Ford has been creating art since he could hold a pencil. A graduate of the Alberta College of Art (’91–’94), his creative practice spans tattooing, oil painting, graphite, and ink drawing—each medium approached with the same quiet intensity and respect for craft. With over 25 years of experience, Scottie has never chased the hype of tattoo culture. For him, tattooing has always been another beloved tool in the creative toolbox, not a vehicle for popularity or status.
Scottie’s work is shaped by decades spent learning from great artists across the industry, and his commitment has always been to the art itself—creating meaningful, lasting pieces for clients, friends, and family. He’s proud to work at Parlour, surrounded by longtime friends from his early days in tattoo shops and T-shirt print studios. It’s a laid-back, honest space—exactly the kind of environment where good work happens.
While social media and trends come and go, Scottie’s focus remains steady: solid, beautiful tattoos that will stand the test of time. With new tattoo ideas, painting projects, and drawings always on the horizon, one thing is clear: retirement isn't even in his vocabulary.
